Diligence is a virtue. Being diligent can result in our success. Being diligent doesn't mean that we are so stupid that we should pay much hard work for our success than others. Instead, being diligent is to show our quality of perseverance.
As the old saying goes that diligence can make up for the inadequacy of birth. It reminds of my classmates’ experience of being diligent. One of my classmates is a clever boy, who always can remember well what should be learnt in the classroom. Another is a girl who always has difficulty understanding what teacher says in the class, but works harder. To our surprise, Lily always can get higher marks than Tom does in the exam.
Success can't be gained without diligence. Diligence is even more important than intelligence.
