A section called“Winter Vacations in Different Countries” will be open in
our school website. Being in charge of collecting information for it, I am
writing to see if it is possible for you to do me a favor.
To start with, I wonder how long the winter vacation is inAmericaand I am
curious to know what kind of activities the students usually participate in
during the vacation. Besides, what I am interested in most is whether the
American students carry such a heavy load of homework as we Chinese do. What’s
