　　1. 表示祝贺的常用套语：
　　Let me congratulate you. 请允许我向你表示祝贺。
　　Allow me to offer my heartiest congratulations. 请允许我向你表示最衷心的祝贺。
　　Please accept my heartiest congratulations. 请接受我衷心的祝贺。
　　Congratulations. 祝贺你；祝贺祝贺；恭喜恭喜。
　　Congratulations on your new job. 祝贺你有了新的工作。
　　Congratulations on passing the exam. 祝贺你考试通过。
　　Congratulations to you all. 祝贺你们大家。
　　Well done. 干得好；做得好；祝贺你。
　　2. 向第三者祝贺：
　　Please give him my congratulations. 请向他转告我的祝贺。
　　Please pass on my congratulations when you see her. 你见到他时，请转告我对他的祝贺。

　　1. 表示祝贺用得最多的两个词是：Congratulate 和 Congratulations. 他们的用法应注意以下几点：
　　（1） congratulate 是动词，一般要以“人”作宾语，而不以“事”作宾语。若要具体表明是因为某事而祝贺某人，要用介词 on （即说成 congratulate sb on sth）。如“祝贺你取得成功”说成英语是：I congratulate you on your success. 不能是：I congratulate your success. 也不能是：I congratulate you for your success.
　　（2） congratulations 是名词（通常用复数形式），它可以单独使用（意为：祝贺你；祝贺祝贺），也可在其后接介词短语来说明是因何事而祝贺或向谁祝贺 （注意：接事时用介词on，接人时用介词 to）。如：
　　Congratulations on your marriage. 祝贺你们缔结良缘。
　　Congratulations to you， Mary. 玛丽，祝贺你。
　　2. congratulate 以及 congratulations 表示祝贺时， 可用于成功、获胜、结婚、毕业以及生日等场合， 但一般不用于节日致词。
　　3. 回答祝贺一般用 Thank you 之类表示感谢的套语。
