高考英语写作中如何避免汉语式英语

　　从平时的练习中，我们发现，不少同学时常写出一些不符合英语表达习惯的句子或者不符合英语语法的句子。这些句子都是受汉语的影响所造成的。
        　　如何避免这种现象呢？平时，我们应尽可能多地掌握一些地道的英语句子，特别是要注意那些与汉语表达习惯不一致的句子。如：
        　　◎他家昨天发生了一场火灾。
        　　误：His home broke out a fire last night.
        　　正：A fire broke out in his home last night.
        　　析：这个误句出现的原因就是受到了汉语习惯的影响，而没有考虑英语中动词break out的用法特点。 break out意为“爆发”，是一个不及物动词，其后不能接宾语。
        　　◎妈妈同意我今天晚上去看电影。
        　　误：Mother agreed me to see the film this evening.
        　　正：Mother allowed me to see the film this evening.
        　　析：动词agree不可接不定式作宾语补足语。
        　　◎去年，她同一位医生结了婚。
        　　误：She married with a doctor last year.
        　　正：She married a doctor last year.
        　　析：marry 用作及物动词，后面直接带宾语。其后不可再用介词with表示“与某人结婚”。
        　　◎听了这个消息，她眼泪都流出来了。
        　　误：Hearing the news, tears came to her eyes.
        　　正：Hearing the news, she burst into tears.
        　　正：When she heard the news, tears came to her eyes.
        　　析：现在分词作状语时，其逻辑主语必须是句子的主语。很明显，本例的tears不可能是现在分词hearing所表动作的发出者。这时，我们可改用状语从句来表示相同的含义。
        　　◎4岁的时候，他的父亲就去世了。
        　　误：At the age of four, his father died.
        　　正：When he was four years old, his father died.
        　　析：本例用at the age of作状语，其逻辑主语就应是句子的主语，但这与实际情况不相符合。
