One Sunday morning,there were some people in Zhongshan Park. At a stand, a woman was buying an ice-cream when a young man behind her snatched her handbag away. She shouted, "Stop,thief! He's snatched my bag! "Heating this, a few people began to run after him. There was an old man sitting quietly on a bench nearby.
As the snatcher was running past him, the old man quickly picked up his umbrella and put it between the snatcher's legs. The young man fell down on the ground heavily. Soon two policemen came in a police car and arrested him. The woman thanked the old man,and the people around praised the old man for his cleverness.

一个星期天的上午，中山公园里有许多人。在站台上，一位妇女正在买冰淇淋，这时站在她后面的一位年轻人偷走了她的手提包。于是她喊到：“抓贼!他偷走了我的包。”听到这些话，有几个人开始去追他。
这时附近一位老人正安静地坐在凳子上。当这个小偷经过他身边时，他很快地拿出他的伞，放在这个人的腿间。这个年轻人重重地跌倒在地上。不一会，一辆警车开过来，两名警察抓住了他。这位妇女非常感谢这位老人，周围的人也对老人的智慧赞叹不已。
